2. Purpose of this privacy notice

This privacy notice explains which personal data is processed when using VEEDUHOME.ch, for which purposes this happens and which rights the persons concerned have. The basis is in particular the Swiss Data Protection Act. If the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union is applicable in an individual case, its principles are also taken into account.

3. Principles of processing

We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary for the operation of the website, the handling of enquiries, communication, security, documentation or the fulfilment of legal obligations. Processing takes place in good faith, transparently, for a specific purpose and proportionately.

4. Visiting the website and server log files

When this website is accessed, technical access data may be processed. This includes in particular the IP address, the date and time of access, the address accessed, the referrer, the browser type, the operating system, device data, the volume of data transferred and status messages.

This data is required to deliver the website, to ensure stability and security, to detect technical errors and to ward off misuse. The technical provision may be carried out by a hosting provider that processes such data as a contract processor or as its own technical provider.

5. Project enquiry form

If you use the project enquiry form, we process the information that you submit voluntarily. This includes in particular:

• project description
• name
• email address
• confirmation of the privacy notice
• technical protection data of the form, such as a timestamp and a honeypot field

We use this information to read the enquiry, to classify it roughly, to ask follow-up questions and to propose the next sensible step. A form enquiry does not replace any binding banking, legal, tax, construction, investment or professional advice.

6. Formspark as the form provider

The project enquiry form is processed technically via Formspark. When the form is submitted, the data entered is transmitted to Formspark and then forwarded to us. In doing so, Formspark may also process technical data such as the IP address, the browser type and the referrer.

Formspark is operated from Belgium and states in its own privacy information that it stores data in Ireland. Formspark provides further information at formspark.io/legal/privacy-policy/ and formspark.io/legal/gdpr/.

7. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, the content of the message, technical metadata of the email as well as further information submitted voluntarily. We use this data to answer your enquiry and to document the communication.

8. Calculators and inputs on the website

The calculators on the website work in the browser. As things currently stand, the calculator values entered are not transmitted to us as long as you do not pass them on yourself in a project enquiry or email. The results are non-binding guidance values.

9. Cookies, tracking and external media

As things currently stand, this website uses no tracking or marketing cookies, no web analytics tools, no social media embeds, no maps, no video embeds and no externally loaded web fonts. No cookie banner is displayed because the current website does not provide for any tracking functions requiring consent.

10. Purposes of data processing

We process personal data in particular for the following purposes:

• provision and security of the website
• handling of project enquiries
• answering emails and follow-up questions
• rough classification of real-estate projects
• documentation of the communication
• protection against misuse, spam and technical attacks
• fulfilment of legal obligations and enforcement of legitimate claims

11. Legal bases and interests

Insofar as a legal basis is required, processing takes place in particular for the conduct of pre-contractual or contractual communication, on the basis of your consent when submitting the form, to safeguard legitimate interests in the secure and functioning operation of the website as well as to fulfil legal obligations.

12. Recipients and contract processors

Personal data may be passed on to technical service providers insofar as this is necessary for the operation of the website, form processing, email communication, IT security or legal obligations. This includes in particular hosting providers, email services and Formspark as the form provider. Disclosure to professional partners only takes place if you wish it, if it is useful for your enquiry or if you consent to a corresponding forwarding.

13. Disclosure abroad

When technical services are used, personal data may also be processed outside Switzerland, in particular within the European Economic Area. If disclosure takes place to states without an adequate level of data protection, we ensure that suitable safeguards or statutory exceptions exist, insofar as this is necessary.

14. Retention and deletion

We retain personal data only for as long as this is necessary for the stated purposes, statutory retention obligations exist, evidence is required or there are legitimate interests in retention. Data that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unauthorised disclosure. Transmission on the web takes place via encrypted connections, insofar as this is provided by the services used.

16. Rights of the persons concerned

As things currently stand, we do not make any automated individual decisions with legal effect or similarly significant impact. Calculator results are purely technical guidance values and not a binding decision on financing, affordability, purchase, investment or project implementation.

We may adapt this privacy notice if the website, services, legal requirements or data processing change. The version published on this website at the relevant time applies.
